Her dress, her crown and jagua was all custom and from local businesses! ❤️ I have since then seem to have inspired a few people to go get their own jagua design to get in character for one of the main characters in the series! 🫶

Check out this amazing henna design! Both of my hands have unique designs crafted by two different artists. Usually, I follow a tradition of doing my own henna before going on vacation, but as a right-handed person, my right hand often felt neglected. To remedy this, I sought the artistic touch of my friend Peyton, who created a beautiful design on my left hand. I then recreated a similar design on my left hand! This was the second time I've ever gotten both of my hands covered in beautiful henna.

I often get asked what my favorite design. The thing is I don't have a favorite design, because as an artist I criticize every design I do. Of course, there's room to improve. Of course, there are many more years of practicing and skills I can learn. Of course, I would always do something different the next time I do that specific design again.

However, I think this might be my favorite photo I've ever taken of my work.

A few months ago, a friend from high school reached out to me to inquire about getting a jagua design done. While going through various design options that she might like, I stumbled upon a particular photo that had caught my eye for quite some time. It was the work of @gopihenna, and I instantly recognized their unique artistic style. Generally, I prefer not to replicate other artists' work, especially when it's elegant and intricate. However, there are rare instances when I become infatuated with a design I come across. In such cases, I occasionally recreate a design from a reference. Prior to posting it, I sought and obtained the original artist's permission. Otherwise, I would have kept it stored on my phone for months to come. That's why it has taken me this long to share this design with everyone. If you take a look, you'll see the spin-off I created, incorporating some elements from @gopihenna photo while considering my client's preferences. 😍

Hello all!
I have made some schedule changes to accommodate the busy season. From now on, I will only accept private appointments on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. On Thursdays, you can find me at the Eats and Beats event in downtown Topeka. There is no availability from Friday-Monday for the next few months. These changes are temporary and will revert to normal once the busy season ends. If you've already made an appointment for any future dates, they will remains as is.

Your satisfaction and convenience remain my top priorities, and I appreciate your understanding and support during this time.

🫶 The most humble way I can say this- you guys have made me go viral for the right reasons. Ever since the crown video blew up, I've had tons of inquiries for crowns even out of state. I've done the most amount of henna crowns this year than I've ever done in total since 2017.

The day before an event is a bit hectic. The time

The day before an event is a bit hectic. The time leading up to the event is hectic. Once I start doing the henna at the event, I am at ease (unless there are long lines). The moment I pack up and head home I'm way too exhausted. That is why I don't schedule any private appointments the day before an event, and I make sure to take time off the day after an event. ❤️ Side note- during my event I'm exchanging a lot of energy with all guests who sit in front of me and get henna. So typically when I'm home and done I want peace and quiet. A chance to re-energize. ❤️ A chance to do what I love- clean, read, go on long walks, and do my chores. Then it starts all over again the weekend after. 🤗

Eliza and Gretchen come to visit their grandma every so often. On their last day in town, they stop by and make an appointment with me. They are such a pleasure to work with. Even though I've met them about 5 times, I've seen them grow in the last few years. It amazes me to see how many relationships one can make even though you've only met for a few hours. 🫶
