    Terms & Conditions

    Customer acknowledges that they have read, understand, and agree to the following terms and conditions when booking a private appointment, party, or corporate event with Essential Henna by V LLC (DBA: Essential Henna). These terms and conditions are available to all customers online and are referenced on Essential Henna's booking site (https://essentialhenna.com) and will be provided to customer for all other available booking channels including phone, email, and other messaging systems. Only individuals 18 years or older are permitted to book services with Essential Henna.

    Private Appointments

    Walk-Ins

    Essential Henna does not accept walk-ins. If you need an appointment as soon as possible, please reach out via text, email, Facebook messenger, or at essentialhenna.com to inquire about a same-day appointment. Essential Henna may accommodate same-day appointments if possible. In order to guarantee an available time for your appointment, follow the booking policy below.

    Booking

    All appointments must be booked at least 48 hours in advance to allow your artist time to prepare supplies necessary for your designs. Appointments may be booked at https://essentialhenna.com or by phone, email, or text. Designs or budget need to be discussed prior to confirming the appointment, as this does affect the time allotted for your appointment. Last minute upgrades, budget changes, or design changes may incur rescheduling and/or additional costs. Please reference the "Design Adjustments" section below for more detail.

    Location

    All private appointments are taken at Essential Henna's private in-home studio. The studio is located in southwest Topeka Kansas and is not ADA accessible (accomodations will be made if customer cannot access). The address is provided once payment is received and the appointment is booked. All customers and guests are requested to remove their shoes when they arrive. Otherwise over-shoe covers will be provided. There are pets present in the home, but can be re-located to other areas of the home upon request. The private in-home studio can accommodate up to 6 guests at a single time. If there more than 6 guests the services will be classified as a party and those terms are outlined below. If customer needs Essential Henna to perform a private appointment at another location there will be fees for travel, time, and other costs incurred by Essential Henna.

    Prepayment

    The agreed upon time, date, and services of the private appointment are only finalized once full prepayment has been received. Until prepayment is received details of the appointment are only provisional. The finalized time and date of the private appointment will be communicated to the customer via email by either an appointment confirmation or as stated on the paid invoice. Appointment availability will be provided on a first come first serve basis based on when payment is received. These terms also apply to services prepaid with a gift card. Accepted payment methods are: Cash, Venmo, Cash App, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express.

    Rescheduling

    Customers may contact Essential Henna to attempt to reschedule their appointment time/date. Availability to reschedule is not guaranteed meaning the appointment may be forced to occur at the time and date already finalized, or otherwise canceled entirely in accordance with the following cancellation policy. If the appointment is able to be rescheduled, it must take place within 14 days of the original appointment date. Any appointment can only be rescheduled once.

    Cancellation Policy

    A full refund of the prepayment will occur in any event that Essential Henna cancels the scheduled appointment. If the customer cancels their appointment for any reason, they will provide a written notice of cancellation and Essential Henna will refund, the following amounts:

    Tardiness

    Please be respectful of the artist's time and that of other customers and arrive in a timely manner. Customers who are late for their finalized appointment time and date may receive a shortened session time while still paying for the originally appointed work in full. If the customer arrives more than 15 minutes late the appointment will be canceled or incur a late fee charge of $30. If the customer does not show up within 30 min, this will be treated as a no-show. In the event of a no-show the customer will not receive any refund and their future ability to book appointments may be restricted.

    Any appointments scheduled outside of Essential Henna's normal hours will have a zero-tolerance for tardiness. If customer(s) are more than 10 minutes late, their appointment is considered cancelled and their prepayment is forfeited.

    Design Adjustments

    Customers are able to request adjustments to the quantity, size, and complexity of the designs that were finalized for their appointment. These requests will be accommodated on a case-by-case basis depending on a multitude of factors including quantity of available supplies, artist availability, and other factors. If the amount of work is reduced, the dollar amount of the reduction will be treated in accordance with the cancellation policy previously stated herein.

    Allergies

    It is the customer's responsibility to test and communicate if they are allergic to any ingredients present in Essential Henna's products. All ingredients are provided below for customer reference.

    Children & Extra Guests

    Customers are asked to limit themselves to having one accompanying guest while receiving your design(s). If the customer must have children accompany them during the session please have another adult present to look after them. If that isn't possible, please make other plans to pre-occupy the child during the session. This will help ensure there are no delays or issues with time-restraints during the appointment. Constant interruptions to the artist's ability to work may result in insufficient time to complete the tattoo. There will not be any refunds if this is the case.

    Outside Hours

    Private appointment hours are from 10am to 6pm (excluding when I am events and festivals). Appointments taken outside of normal hours are subject to a $25 fee.

    Final Payment

    Payment is due in cash or by credit card at the completion of the private appointment. Checks are not acceptable unless otherwise discussed.

    After-Care

    It is the customer's responsibility to follow the provided care-instructions to ensure the best stain results. Essential Henna is not responsible for any failures to follow these instructions. Care instructions are provided at the time of the appointment and can also be found here.

    Refunds

    Essential Henna does not offer refunds, exchanges, or credits on services or gift certificates. Any issues with your design must be communicated to Essential Henna within 48 hours of your appointment time and date. Please email [email protected] and we will do our best to make things right.
